Has anyone heard of this?
It smells like a hoax. The worst of both worlds? Wink

Not a hoax, just another flavor of Linux. This one is Russian. It is
available in English as well as Russian. The downside of this distro is
that the download speed from the server is glacial. Even with a highspeed
connection it would take the better part of 24 hours to download. I think
they keep it this way so that you will opt to purchase it. As for what you
have when you finally get it: nothing better than most. Best, JG

Just a source of confusion when someone says they are running XP. How silly.

How can you not trust someone named TrustVerse?

Silly attempt to mimic Windows Vista imo.

Thanks to each and everyone of you who replied. All were high quality,
informative answers. Not a single insult anywhere. Isn't that nicer? Wink It
makes this thread a pleasure to read (and no, not because I started it; the
credit is yours not mine).

FYI, someone on another forum answered this: "IF these guys were not a scam,
I suspect that they may have run into legal problems. They use the "windows
emulation" descriptor and wine has stayed well clear of the description for
a long time (I suspect a M$ lawyer may have had a word a long time ago). I
suspect the GPL lawyers were probably pretty interested too..."

@HPT Was that Mac imitation done with the blessing/permission of Apple. I'd
have thought they were a bit possessive about their logo, I suppose it was,
